      Yahoo Messenger or more people shortened it to YM is a chat program or instant messaging provided by Yahoo. YM can be used free of charge or free to use our yahoo account. YM also be used for Yahoo services like Yahoo Mail, service is provided on Yahoo Games, Yahoo Mobile, and other Yahoo services. 

      YM is now performing with the latest version where we can chat with your friends - we went straight from the YM facebook without signing in to Facebook first. In addition, we also can update status, post comments and view the conversation our friend on facebook and Yahoo as well as see the conversations and status updates on Twitter we can do from Yahoo Messenger 11.

       

       

        With Yahoo Messenger, we can :

• Call and talk with your friends. You can call a friend’s computer, mobile phone, and even the old-fashioned home phone.
• Share your favorite photos.
• See when your friends are online and let them see you.
• Save friends’ contact details in your online address book. Your Messenger address book synchronizes with your Yahoo! Address Book. When you update one, you automatically update the other.
• Play games with your friends.
• Send emails back and forth.
• Add color and graphics to your conversations and change the look of the application.

      Yahoo Messenger role as a medium of learning:
Yahoo messenger can be done through the process of data transfer. For example, teachers want to give soft copy of the learning materials to students, not necessarily through direct face to face. Teachers simply clicking the paper clip at the bottom of the conversation window, then browse the save files and then upload. And a matter of students to receive the file.
